東京を拠点として活動するHarukaは、フェスティバルから地方ツアーまで多くの現場を経験する中でその技術を磨いてきた。近年は海外での活動も積極的に行い、アジア、ヨーロッパ、アメリカ等、重要なダンスミュージックカルチャーが存在する国と地域で多くのツアーを敢行。これまでいくつかのポッドキャストに提供されたミックスからは洗練されたテクノのセレクションを、また主宰するレーベルProtectionからリリースされているDJツールとコンテンポラリーミュージックの境界と言える作品群からは、音楽センスの幅の広さを垣間見ることができる。
Over the last decade, Tokyo-based DJ Haruka has emerged as a leading figure
in Japan’s dance music scene. A longtime resident of the legendary Future
Terror party, Haruka’s reputation within Japan has led to success overseas as
well, with regular bookings across Asia, Oceania, and sets at European staples.
In addition to providing mixes to various music media outlets to show his
sophisticated techno selection, Haruka also launched a label Protection to
explore the margins between the dance floor and contemporary music.
